"When I finally got around to reading your script FROM OUT OF NOWHERE I was utterly blown away by it. I would describe it as CINDERELLA meets ALICE IN WONDERLAND as envisioned by SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND.
Lisa is a wonderful heroine, last in the long line of kooky New York single girls who have populated the screen. You've succeeded brilliantly in inventing a creative person because, unlike so many other writers, you show us her creativity instead of just talking about it. Your story has more cameos than a Muppet movie, and the characters you invent are even more colorful than the stars.
What a collection of men is in Lisa's life. Bob the surf dude, magical Fly, suave and oily Derek, swashbuckling Jeff -- this is going to be a great date movie. And in the end she gets true love and buried treasure. How marvelously Hollywood! [And she seals her relationship with God - making it a great faith film!].
You manage to make it sincere, but also a sort of parody of a happy ending. All in all, you've done what writers need to do. You've created characters worth caring about, and placed them in scenes and settings and circumstances and situations filled with the sweet stress and tension required of solid dramatic structure since its inception.
It seems to me that FROM OUT OF NOWHERE is a superb script with real commercial potential, and I toast your most worthy accomplishment, and this most worthy draft!", Professor, Richard Walter, Chairman of the Film and Television Department at UCLA

"As a professional writing consultant I’m very careful of what I endorse and to whom I offer my name. However, I was not only impressed by Whitney’s native skill and originality as a writer, but I was very pleased with her ability to take direction and constructive criticism. Whitney is a writer who demonstrates organic talent and the open-mindedness to learn how to best communicate her ideas.
I have found Whitney to be consistently hardworking, dedicated, inventive and quite professional in her manner and attitude. Her writing is strong and sensitive, yet there is a dept to it that I don’t see often enough in writers I am unequivocal in my endorsement and support of Whitney DeLise."
